How to Take Your Body Measurements
For the most accurate results, wear form-fitting clothing or undergarments and use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
1. Chest Measurement
How to Find It: Measure around the fullest part of your chest and back. This is typically across your nipples and under your armpits, including the width of your shoulder blades.
Posture: Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
Measuring: Keep the tape measure level around your body and parallel to the floor. Ensure it is snug but not tight, allowing it to lie flat against your skin without compressing it.
2. Waist Measurement
How to Find It: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso. If it's not obvious, bend to one side—the crease that forms is your natural waist. It is typically located just above your belly button.
Posture: Stand naturally and do not suck in your stomach. Relax your abdomen for a true measurement.
Measuring: Keep the tape measure snug but not tight, and ensure it is level and flat against your body all the way around.
